There are two distinguishing benefits of this baby monitor set that make it a good investment: its “decibel” display, which visually shows sounds that may otherwise go unnoticed, and an extra, portable receiver, for monitoring as one runs about the house. Everything else about the set adds to its convenience and durability, but is found in other models. Still, they are good to have: two channels only, for less interference and clearer sound; AC and battery power (requires 6, AA batteries); and an anti-breakage design, such as short, flexible antennae and a thick plastic frame.
